Drip Irrigation System Installation
Are your plants drying up? You need Drip Irrigation. Do you have a water bill that is a little too expensive? You need a drip irrigation system. If you are looking for a simple solution that does not waste your time and your money, drip irrigation systems are the way to go. Throw out the old watering jug. Or if you have sprinklers, you might think they are the solution, but more often than not they waste resources and time. Whether your an environmentalist, live in a drought area or just care about water being wasted, this will help recover some of your loss in either case. Once you put in a drip system you will never go back. There are much more proficient and take less maintained and precious time out of your busy day.
There a 2 different kinds of drip irrigation systems. You can pick between above ground and below ground models. Both models work in the same fashion. There is a hose with a regulator that allows only small drips of water to come out at a time. This allows the water to have a better chance to soak into the plant and you get more bang for your buck.
They are usually attached to a hose with a timer that regulates the time paths they are to follow.
The below ground model is more for the person who is concerted with the appearance of the system above ground. You obviously will not see a below ground system but it is much harder and more expensive to install. It is slightly more efficient, so if you are willing to go the extra mile it might be worth it in your case. The above ground version just has a visible hose running along the plant bed.
When deciding which version is right for you I would suggest taking into account the variety of plants that the system will be watering for the year round. If the plants change from season to season and require a different setup than it would be much wiser to go with the above ground version. This style allows for easier adaptations or change of use.
If the look of the hose really bothers you, if you would not mind putting in the extra work if something were to go wrong, that the underground version is a beautiful setup and invisible to the eye.
If what you are looking for is an efficient, cheap and easy to maintain setup for watering your garden than this is the item for you. This drip irrigation system is much more efficient than the typical sprinkler as it saves water while more productively watering your garden.
